Melissa Noel Taylor and Clayton Lewis Theleman were married April 25, 2015, at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan, with Fr. Joseph S. Popelka officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. Larry and Dr. Cathy Taylor, Chanute, and Mr. Gene and Mrs. Luanne Theleman, Natoma.

Grandparents of the couple are Mariam Mih, Mary Etta Taylor, the late Dr. Alexander Mih Sr., the late Wayne Taylor, the late Conrad and Kathryn Hoffman, and the late Fred and Leona Theleman.

Honor attendant was Jillian Taylor, sister of the bride. Attendants were Kate Barker, Natalie Mildfelt, Jane Burton, Taylor Danielsen, Molly Randall and Lauren Lydon, all friends of the bride.

Best men were Brian Conrad Theleman and Justin Lee Theleman, both brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Justin Bridges, Aaron Lammers, Drew Keil, Connor Barnes and John Hermes, all friends of the groom and Wyatt Taylor, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Arun Indiculla, Johnny Leck, Drew Madison and Jake Wilson, all friends of the groom. Flower girls were Adair Lee, Corrine Schwindt, Kherington Law and Jullian Schwindt, all friends of the bride. The ring bearer was Braxton Tally, cousin of the groom.

Music was provided by Elemento String Quartet, organist Ramona Kramer and canter Sara Redetzke.

An evening celebrating their day continued with a reception, dinner and dance held at Hilton Garden Inn, Manhattan.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Chanute High School and Kansas State University with a bachelor of science in human nutrition in 2010 and masterís of public health in 2012.

In 2013, she completed an accelerated bachelor of science nursing degree at Mid America Nazarene University. She is a director of nursing for the Woodford Health Department.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Natoma High School and a 2010 graduate of KSU with a degree in biology. In May 2014, he graduated from the University Of Kansas School of Medicine and is completing his second year of General Surgery residency at The University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria Ill.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the newlyweds are at home in Peoria.

The couple plan to return to Kansas when he completes his residency.
