Aaron E. Clark, 96, Plainville, died Monday, June 13, 2016, in Plainville.
He was born Aug. 28, 1919, in Webster to Oscar and Maude (Coleman) Clark.
He married Mildred L. (Beckley) Clark on April 22, 1939, in Oberlin. She preceded him in death. He was a salesman at Standard Oil Company of Indiana (BP). He was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Verle Clark, Rose Hill, and Ivan Clark, Morrison, Colo.; a daughter, Wanda Marshall, Thornton, Colo.; a brother, Ben Clark, California; three sisters, Margaret Kerr and Naomi Maddox, both of Topeka, and Ruth Colgrove, Yelm, Wash.; 26 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, LaVon Kats; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Palco; burial in Stockton Cemetery with military rites by Fort Riley.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday with family receiving friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Plainville.
