Patricia "Pat" Bartlett, 86, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014.

She was born March 16, 1927, in Rooks County to Clarence and Stella (Widman) Baumgartner. She was a graduate of Plainville High School and attended Bethany College, Lindsborg.

She married Don Bartlett on Sept. 9, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1999.

She enjoyed playing the organ in church for more than 70 years, reading, sewing, knitting, needlepoint, crocheting, photography and any new craft. She enjoyed fishing, flying kites, gardening, flowers, hauling wheat, picnics and mowing grass on her riding lawnmower.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Joshua Parson and wife, Katie, and Caleb Parson and wife, Michelle, all of Plainville, and Danielle Parson, Victoria; her step-grandchildren, Joshua and Allison Bieker, Plainville; a sister-in-law, Joan Garvert, Salina; and her nieces, Caryn and Wade Kennedy and family, Emporia, Noelle and Lenny Sliva and Becker, Olathe, Nathyn Kennedy, Emporia, Sharon and Bob Rogers and family, El Dorado, Nick and Becky, Ethan and Luke, Lawrence, Aryn Rogers, El Dorado, and Preston Rogers, Gardner.

She was preceded in death by a son, Brent Bartlett; a daughter, Kyle Raye Bartlett Parson; and her parents.

Services were Thursday at First Christian Church, Plainville; inurnment in Plainville Cemetery.
