Ol Stuga

Menu: The Swedish pub is known for its deli sandwiches and beer.

Signature dish: Everyone knows the Stuga is famous for the Brent Nelson. The sandwich, named after the customer who invented it, includes polish sausage, barbeque sauce, smoky sharp cheese, hot pepper cheese and onions, all served warm on a submarine bun - and it is a town favorite.

Swedish Crown

Hours: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Details: The Swedish Crown Restaurant has been a presence in downtown Lindsborg for more than 40 years. The building itself was built in 1900. 

In January 2013 Eric Lundstrom and Shana Everhart, both raised in Lindsborg, reopened this iconic restaurant.

Menu: The Swedish Crown features a mix of traditional Swedish dishes and American favorites with a unique twist. The menu includes soups, salads and sandwiches, along with steak. Or, try the Swedish mustard-glazed Pork Chop, "Lucia" chicken and baked cod. There is also Swedish pancakes and Swedish meal - complete with potato sausage, Swedish meatballs and dill potatoes.

A full bar is also available in the Vasa Club.

Signature dishes: Swedish pancakes are served all day and are popular. Other musts: the Swedish meatballs and potato sausage. 



Harvest Cafe

112 S Main St Hours: 6 a.m. 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Saturday; 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Details: The local cafe is the heart of any small town. That's why current owner Katie Reinecker wanted to keep it open and is living her dream owning the community-centered café. Menu: There is everything from hamburgers to roast beef sandwiches and chicken dinners. Also go on buffet days: Wednesday is Mexican, Thursday is verenika, and Friday fried chicken.
