WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Three Fort Hays State University wrestlers were crowned MIAA champions Sunday at the MIAA Wrestling Championships at the University of Central Missouri.

No. 8 ranked Noah Killip claimed the title at 141 pounds. No. 8 Jon Inman won at 184 pounds, and No. 5 ranked Trey Page took the title at 285.

In addition, the Tigers had three more wrestlers earn top-three finishes and all-MIAA status, including Josh Rodriguez, who finished second at 174, and Cash Drylie, who was second at 197. Joey Dozier was third at 149 pounds.

The University of Nebraska-Kearney won the team title for the second straight season. The Lopers scored 91.5 points.

Lindenwood was second with 82, and FHSU rounded out the top three with 70.5 points.

Killip moved to 25-3 for the season, Inman to 31-5, and Page pushed his record to 40-2 for the Tigers.

Next action for the Tigers is Feb. 27 to 28 at the NCAA Division II Super Regional in Pueblo, Colo.
