First Presbyterian has new transitional minster
First Presbyterian Church, 2900 Hall St., announces that the Rev. Christine Wagner has been appointed its new transitional minister. The church has been without a pastor since October when the Rev. Celeste Lasich accepted a new position in Utah.
Trinity Lutheran collecting aid for wildfire victims
Trinity Lutheran Church, 27th and Fort, is collecting funds and other assistance for those who suffered losses in the recent wildfires in Russell County. A Fire Relief Fund has been set up at Southwind Bank in Natoma and Russell.
