Fort Hays State SRP event returns to in-person, on the road events for prospective students

Fort Hays State University’s Student Recognition Programs will return to traveling for their annual Tiger Road Show this year. Director of Admissions Jon Armstrong will join 30 to 40 personnel on the month-long, 12-city series that works to recognize high school and transfer students who want to learn more about FHSU.

Annual Chamber Banquet recognizes local individuals

The Chamber in Hays, Kansas held their 2022 Annual Chamber Banquet on January 25, where eight individuals were recognized for their significant contributions to the Hays area. The first award presented was the Vyve Broadband Rising Star Award which recognized a young professional for leadership and service within their profession, the community and overall chamber participation.

Tiger women rally for victory

The second-ranked Fort Hays women’s basketball team rallied past Pittsburg State on Saturday to claim an 86-82 MIAA victory at Gross Memorial Coliseum. The Tigers trailed the Gorillas by as many as 14 points for their largest comeback victory since winning at Nebraska-Kearney on Feb.
