Tigers rebound with 78-49 victory

Coach Tony Hobson had a feeling his Fort Hays State University women’s basketball team would bounce back after Monday’s shocking loss to a four-win Northeastern State (Okla.) squad. “I did after practice yesterday,” Hobson said Thursday night after the fourth-ranked Tigers’ 78- 49 MIAA victory over Rogers State (Okla.) at Gross Memorial Coliseum.

TMP Girls fall in double overtime

The Monarch girls were in the pole position in the MCL race going into Friday night’s game against Phillipsburg. After a 44-40 double-overtime loss in Al Billinger Fieldhouse, the Thomas More Prep-Marian girls’ basketball team is now in a three-horse race for the league title.

Randal ”Randy” Ames Olson

Randal “Randy” Ames Olson went to his heavenly home on January 29, 2022 at Medical City Hospital in Arlington, Texas at the age of 68. Randy was born on October 11, 1953 in Atwood, Kansas to Alden “Hank” and Macalene (Barnhart) Olson. Both preceded him in death.
