DODGE CITY – It was a signature victory for the Hays High girls’ basketball team, and senior Aleyia Ruder had her name written all over it. Ruder hit a desperation, closely-guarded 3-pointer at the buzzer Friday night to give the Indians a 42-40 upset win over Dodge City, the eighth-ranked team in Class 6A.
