KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — A winter storm set to move across the country this week could drop more than a foot of snow in parts of Missouri and Kansas and, more ominously, coat trees and power lines with freezing rain.
“They face multiple sources of risk every day,” said Ifft, an agricultural policy specialist with K-State Research and Extension. “Forage production can vary dramatically based on when or how much it rains. Topics range from soil fertility, weed management, cover crops, and weather resources.
Thomas Moore Prep is hosting their annual Pop Singers dinner show this weekend at Dreiling Theatre. The show will feature around 20 students performing, alongside the efforts of cast and crew who have helped organize the production.
The Hays Area Planning Commision passed eight new business proposals under the consideration of Mayor Mason Ruder and Vice Mayor Michael Berges, as well as commissioners Shaun Musil, Sandy Jacobs and Reese Barrick, PhD. The city meeting was held on January 27 and passed all presented requests by unanimous vote, 4-0.
