KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin founded 23XI Racing with a vision that extended far beyond the race track.

With the opening of the ARC Splash Pad Monday afternoon, phase one and two have been completed and ready for the public to enjoy throughout the summer. The farm and oil themed splash pad features a park with different slides, swings and climbing fixtures for both able-bodied and disabled individuals to enjoy.

LARNED – The Thomas More Prep-Marian boys’ golf team qualified two individuals from Monday’s regional at Larned Country Club for next week’s Class 3A state tournament. Junior Pake Dewey finished third with a 79 and freshman Huer Brungardt shot 90 to take eighth.
WICHITA – The Hays High boys’ golf team qualified two individuals for next week’s state tournament at Monday’s Class 5A regional at Reflection Ridge Golf Course. Junior Blake Buckles medaled with his sixth-place finish, shooting an 82.
