Men’s Track and Field Places Fifth at MIAA Outdoor Championships
EMPORIA, Kan. - The Fort Hays State men’s track and field team placed fifth at the 2022 MIAA Outdoor Championship with 73 team points after picking up three All-MIAA honors and breaking one school record on Sunday (May 8).

‘ManningCast’ comes to golf as PGA gets alternate telecast
The “ManningCast” so popular on “Monday Night Football” is coming to major championship golf. ESPN is collaborating with Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions for the alternate telecast during the PGA Championship at Southern Hills. Peyton and Eli Manning will be dropping in. The show will be hosted by Joe Buck, who now is with ESPN. Other guests will include Charles Barkley and Fred Couples. In other golf news, Dallas should have a good field for the Byron Nelson. That wasn't the case for the Wells Fargo Championship. It had its weakest field.
Brummer’s hat trick not enough for TMP
A hat trick by senior Ella Brummer was not enough for the Thomas More Prep-Marian girls’ soccer team. The Monarchs lost 8-3 to Dodge City on Monday at Cripplegate Field.
TMP’s Dewey takes first at Smoky Hill
The Thomas More Prep-Marian gold team earned a second place finish at their home meet Monday afternoon, led by Pake Dewey’s first place performance. Dewey, a junior, shot 82 on the day followed by his teammates Landon Rozean, 86, Heuer Brungardt, 89, Jensen Brull, 100, Handrick Chen, 115 and Peyton Schwartz 122.
