If you believe the hype about the future of cars in America, it’s easy to see a wide gap between gasoline today and electricity tomorrow. Even with the latest generation of electric cars like the Ford Mustang Mach-E that I drove a few weeks ago, limited charging infrastructure makes electric cars better suited for urban driving than crossing long, barren stretches of highway in rural America.

Track and Field Nationally Ranked

NEW ORLEANS - Both Fort Hays State track and field teams wrapped up the 2022 outdoor season ranked in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Ratings Index, released Tuesday (May 17) by the coaches organization. The women are slotted 14th heading into the postseason, while the men are 24th in the latest release.

TMP soccer sees season end

The Thomas More Prep-Marian girls’ soccer team saw its season come to end on Tuesday at Cripplegate Field, losing 2-0 to Wichita-Collegiate in the first round of its Class 4-1A regional. Collegiate scored in the 30th and 36th minutes to take a 2-0 halftime lead.
