Joint release on FHSU and Kansas Bankers Association partnership

HAYS, Kan – The Kansas Bankers Association (KBA) and Fort Hays State University announced a partnership that will provide experienced leadership for the university’s Robbins Banking Institute. Through its subsidiary, the 501(c)(3) Kansas Bankers Educational Foundation (KBEF), the KBA will recruit and support the efforts of the next Robbins Banking Institute director.

We’re off to see the Wizard!

With theater a centerpiece in her life, Addy Brull started her acting career at just eight years old with Hays Community Theater. She has been a part of 11 shows, including Urinetown presented by Hays High last fall. Born and raised in Kansas, she has always felt pulled to the iconic lead in the Wizard of Oz.

Upper body strength remains stagnant after rotator cuff injury

DEAR DR. ROACH: I have been trying to increase my upper body strength, but am having difficulties. I am almost 70 and female, and have been moderately active. I exercise daily for 30 minutes using a stationary bike or a treadmill. I injured my rotator cuff last summer playing an exercise video game. There is hardware from a previous surgery for cancer in my humerus, which complicates surgical options. But I’m not ready for surgery yet, as my range of motion and pain levels are acceptable.
