The annual Hays High Maroon and Gold Kickoff Classic will be held a day earlier this yea Normally on a Friday, the kickoff for HHS fall sports will be Thursday at Hays High due to the football team being in Wichita on Friday for a jamboree with other schools. The Maroon and Gold activities will include a meal, which is free for athletes, band members, dance team members and cheerleaders, starting at 5 p.m., followed by serving meals to fans, with a goodwill donation.
