Hays Symphony “American Tapestry” concert features soprano Ivalah Allen

Reexperience a bustling era of music inspired by post-WWII American optimism. The Hays Symphonywillbepresenting its first Masterworks Concert, American Tapestry, on October 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Beach/ Schmidt Performing Arts Center. The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Brian Buckstead, Assistant Professor of Violin and Viola at FHSU.

HaysMed Receives ACC Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Reaccreditation

The American College of Cardiology has recognized HaysMed for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain. HaysMed was awarded Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primary PCI in August based on rigorous onsite evaluation of the staff’s ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack.
