The seniors went out with a bang and the Monarchs got a glimpse of the future in Thursday night’s final game of the season for the Thomas More Prep-Marian football team. The five seniors experienced for the final time the ringing of Victory Bell.

Already a standout on special teams, Tiger defensive back Sam Brandt showed what he was capable of doing on defense, too. Brandt, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound sophomore from Piedmont, Okla., made nine tackles, had two pass breakups and intercepted another pass in Fort Hays State University’s 27-14 win over Central Missouri on Saturday.
