Monarchs send seniors out with win

Tigers Draw with Hillcats to Finish Regular Season Play
Fort Hays State played to a scoreless draw with No. 19 ranked Rogers State on Thursday (Oct. 27). FHSU finished the regular season 8-4-6 overall and 6-2-3 in conference play, while RSU moved to 8-3-5 overall and 6-1-3 in GAC play with one contest left.
Brandt makes big plays for Tigers
Already a standout on special teams, Tiger defensive back Sam Brandt showed what he was capable of doing on defense, too. Brandt, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound sophomore from Piedmont, Okla., made nine tackles, had two pass breakups and intercepted another pass in Fort Hays State University’s 27-14 win over Central Missouri on Saturday.
