A recent letter to the editor declared that I have been unfair to my opponent in the race for the 111th District seat in the Kansas House. The letter sought to show how my opponent is actually a great supporter of K-12 education and Fort Hays State University.

Patricia Anne Pierce, daughter of Henry F. (III) and Edith L (Campbell) Pierce was born on April 2, 1946, in Kansas City, MO. Her death occurred Sept. 19, 2022, at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital, Gardner at the age of 76. Patricia lived her early life in Hays, KS. On Nov. 18, 1964, she was united in marriage to Henry Mason Sellers at Hays. This union was blessed with three children: Margaret, Christine and Katherine. Patricia occupied her life with the many activities of a homemaker, housewife, mother and grandmother. She made a family home in several communities in Kansas while traveling with her family until 1987 when Henry and Patricia moved to Manhattan, KS, until 2002 when Patricia moved to Russell, KS and then 2019 when she moved to Gardner, KS to live out her life.
