Fort Hays State Football snapped its four-game skid overall and a six-game home losing skid with a 27-14 win over Central Missouri on Saturday (Oct. 22) The Tigers got off to a slow start in the first half, but were able to take advantage of a couple of mistakes by the Mules to walk away with the win. Both squads moved to 2-6 on the season.

Fort Hays State Women’s Soccer will be the No. 4 seed in the 2022 MIAA Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament. The opening round of the tournament will be on Sunday, October 30, followed by the semifinals and finals on November 4 and 6 at the campus site of the highest seed remaining following the opening round.
Avis (Schindler) Look of Hays, KS, formerly of Stockton, KS, passed away on October 20, 2022, in Hays, KS at the age of 88. She was born on July 9, 1934, to Raymond and Vera (Arrington) Schindler in Greenfield Rooks County, KS. She was married to Lester E. Look on May 17, 1952, in Belleville, KS. They were blessed with two daughters: Patricia and Diane.
