Tigers Cruise Past Thunder 95-40

Fort Hays State finished its non-conference slate at 5-1 overall with a 55-point blowout win over Manhattan Christian on Saturday evening (Nov. 26) in Hays. For the second straight game the Tigers outscored their opponent by more than their opponent scored, producing a season-high in scoring with a 95-40 result. The halves were nearly identical in scoring, FHSU taking the first half 48-20 and the second 47-20.

Thomas Ray Hammersmith

Thomas Ray Hammersmith, a gregarious and genuine personality who had the ability to instantly connect with others and never met a stranger, died November 22, 2022, surrounded by the love of his wife and three children, his mother, his siblings and their families, and all of his friends. He was 50.

HaysMed Opens Pain Center

HaysMed has recently opened a Pain Center. Dr. Keith Green, Anesthesiologist will be providing services in a clinic located at 2500 Canterbury, Suite 206. While Green has been providing pain management for over 25 years in the hospital setting this will be the first time that a dedicated clinic area will be utilized.
