Donald L. Sander “Don”

Donald L. Sander “Don”, 75, of Richland, Iowa passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Jefferson County Health Care Center. As were his wishes, his body has been cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be mailed to Carol Sander at P.O. Box 323, Richland, Iowa 52585. Four from Tiger Volleyball Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

The Fort Hays State volleyball team placed four student-athletes on the 2022 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. College Sports Communicators (CSC) is the new name for College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), changed prior to the start of the 2022-23 academic year. This award honors a combination of academic and athletic accomplishments of the individuals selected.

‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ teaches us how our lives affect others

When asked to write about my favorite Christmas movie, the choice was an easy one. I have been a fan of actor Jimmy Stewart for as long as I can remember. My mom liked him too. Is it possible to skip Christmas?

When I saw the topic for this month’s “ONE,”I knew right away which movie I wanted to write about. I’m all about a good Christmas movie, but I’m even more about a hilarious comedy. Our family rule has always been to read a book before watching something in movie-form.That being said, my chosen movie is “Christmas with the Kranks,” based on the John Grisham novel, “Skipping Christmas.”
