Women's Wrestling Announces 15 Signings for 2024-25 Season

Fort Hays State Women's Wrestling head coach Alijah Jeffery announced the signing of 15 newcomers for the upcoming season. The program heads into its first official season of team competition in 2024-25. The program started in 2023-24 when all of the individuals on the team were allowed to compete unattached in tournaments, but they redshirted to retain their season of eligibility.

Brittney Squire, the Convention and Visitors Bureau’s (CVB’s) Marketing Manager, kicked off the City’s July 1st Press Briefing with a reminder that Hays is fortunate to have two Farmer’s Markets this summer with the Downtown Market open Saturdays, 7:30 – 11 a.m. at the Downtown Pavillion and the Hays Fresh Produce Market open Wednesdays, 5-7 p.m. and Saturdays 7:30—11 a.m. in Bomgaars parking lot.

Annette Wiles to be Inducted into Kansas Sports Hall of Fame

Former Fort Hays State standout women's basketball player and head coach Annette Wiles will be inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame on Sunday, October 13 in Topeka. Wiles is one of 12 individuals being inducted in the Class of 2024. She is already a member of the FHSU Tiger Sports Hall of Fame and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Hall of Fame.
