Fort Hays State had nine individuals receive NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors for 2024. Five of the individuals are repeat honorees, while four received the honor for the first time at FHSU. To earn the honor, student-athletes must must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the 2023-24 academic year.
Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ellis County by joining the Hays community at the 2024 Duck Derby. The annual event kicks off at 5:30, the first heat of rubber ducks hitting the lazy river en route to the top 500. QPR is a suicide-prevention training designed to educate people from all walks of life on how to recognize the warning signs of suicide.
