The Fort Hays State women's soccer team is set go on the road for their first pair of conference matches this weekend (Sept. 27-29). The Tigers possess a 3-1-2 overall record riding a 3-match win streak. The Tigers will play at Missouri Southern on Friday (Sep 27) at 6 p.m. in Joplin before matching up with Pittsburg State on Sunday (Sep 29) at 1 p.m.
The Fort Hays State volleyball team opens conference play this weekend (Sept. 28-29) with a pair of road games at Missouri Southern and Central Missouri. The Tigers will battle the Lions Friday in Joplin before taking on the Jennies Saturday in Warrensburg. First serve in each match is set for 6 p.m.
Emily Hutchings and Mackenzie Caldwell of Fort Hays State Women's Soccer were two of the three student-athletes receiving MIAA Athlete of the Week honors on Tuesday (Sept. 24). Hutchings was named the Defender of the Week, while Caldwell was named Goalkeeper of the Week. They joined Hannah Anderson (Offensive Player of the Week) of Northeastern State as the weekly honorees from the conference office.
