Following discussion, the USD489 Board of Education accepted (5-2) an $800,000 bid for Lincoln Elementary School and authorized BOE Attorney Bill Jeeter and Superintendent to enter into contract negotiations with developer Michael Graham’s Turn-Key Property Solutions, LLC for the sale of the property. President Curt Vajnar, Vice Present Jayme Goetz and Board Members Ken Brooks, Ruth Ruder and Meagan Zampieri-Lillpopp voted in favor of accepting the bid.

During the Nov. 26, 2024, Hays City Commission meeting, Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Executive Director Melissa Dixon highlighted a number of community events as the holiday season kicks into full swing.
