Baseball Ranked 27th in Latest ABCA Coaches Poll
The Fort Hays State baseball team is ranked 27th in the latest ABCA NCAA Division II Coaches Poll, released Tuesday (March 18) by the coaches association. It is the first recorded time the Tigers have been listed inside a national poll since 2006 and the first time they have been mentioned in a poll since the 2011 preseason poll when they were receiving votes.

The 27th-ranked Fort Hays State baseball team scored five runs in the top of the ninth to rally and beat Washburn 7-5 Tuesday afternoon (March 18). The MIAA-leading Tigers are now 17-5 overall and 12-1 in league play after winning their fifth in a row while the Ichabods dip to 13-12 on the year and 6-7 in conference games.
