Ray L. Wilson, 87, Jetmore, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
He was born Dec. 1, 1928, in Hodgeman County to Forest R. and Flossie F. Smith Wilson.
He married Rowena Sorem on April 5, 1953, in Jetmore. She preceded him in death Feb. 4, 2016. He was a farmer/rancher.
He was a member and Elder of the United Presbyterian Church of Jetmore, Farm Bureau, Soil Conservation, Special Ed School board member and a Jetmore School Board member for 16 years.
Survivors include, three sons, Rodney Wilson and Ronald Wilson and wife, Paula, all of Jetmore, and Ross Wilson and wife, Cindi, La Crosse; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Harvey, Glen, Gerald, Ira Lee and Charles; and two sisters, Elsie Hoagland and Vera Wilson.
Services were Tuesday at United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore; burial with military rites in Fairmount Cemetery.
