Fort Hays State University's Cash Drylie was named the MIAA's Wrestler of the Week for his perofrmance at the Midwest Duals in Kearney, Neb.
Drylie went 4-0 for the week at 197 pounds and helped the Tigers to a 4-0 record at the Midwest Duals. He recorded all of his wins by fall, generating a maximum of 24 points for his team on the weekend.
He had the decisive win in two of the four duals for FHSU. In a 28-23 win over Southwest Minnesota State, his pin over Ashton Bartlett in 3 minutes, 54 seconds sealed the team victory. In a 22-21 win over San Francisco State, he broke a 15-15 tie with a pin in 1:44.
He also recorded pins against Cory Marquez of New Mexico Highlands (1:16) and Jakob Lund of CSU-Pueblo (3:25) in sizable dual victories for the Tigers. FHSU defeated NHMU 36-6 and No. 20 ranked CSU-Pueblo 37-15.
