Jack E. Manis Jr., 72, Osborne, formerly of Woodston, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Osborne County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 13, 1944, in Austin, Texas to Jack E. Manis Sr. and Clarice (Isaacks).

He married Caroline Manis on Oct. 6, 1993, in Dodge City. He was a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Woodston; a son, Mark Manis, Stockton; a stepson, Brad Lynch, Woodston; a daughter, Jacque Hartley, Wichita; a stepdaughter, Connie Manis, Stockton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Stockton; inurnment will be in Woodston Cemetery.

There will be no visitation; cremation has taken place.
