The Fort Hays State wrestling team entered Saturdayís Midwest Duals with a 1-2 record in duals but improved to 5-2 with a perfect day in Kearney, Neb.

The highlight of the Tigersí showing was a 37-15 victory over CSU-Pueblo, the 20th-ranked team in the country.

Anthony Calderon (133), Joey Dozier (157), Kregg Clarke (165), Jon Inman (184) and Cash Drylie (197) each won their matches by fall. Noah Killip and Bradley Little also earned victories, as the Tigers took seven of the 10 matches.

FHSU completed its perfect day with a win via tiebreaker against San Francisco State. The teams were tied at 21 after 10 matches, but FHSU took six of the 10 matches for the win.

The Tigers started the day with a 36-6 win over New Mexico Highlands before beating Southwest Minnesota 28-23.

Inman, the No. 6 wrestler at 184 pounds, Drylie and Killip all went 4-0 on the day, while Little was perfect in three matches.

Chas Thompsonís team will look to keep its run going against Nebraska-Kearney, the fifth-ranked team in the country, on Thursday at Gross Memorial Coliseum, starting at 7 p.m.
