Tammie Williams RN, recently passed the Certified Emergency Nurse examination administered by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing.
The CEN credential represents a commitment of the individual nurse, as well as the emergency department that supports CEN credentialing, to quality state-of-the-art emergency care. Tina Befort, sonographer at HaysMed, recently obtained her breast imaging certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
The breast examination assesses the knowledge, skills and abilities in the areas of normal breast as well as breast abnormalities that are found with screening or diagnostic mammography. To obtain certification, sonographers must pass a rigorous examination that tests their knowledge and practical, real-world skills, all of which take years of training and experience to acquire. When a sonography professional holds certification from ARDMS, you know he or she is dedicated to providing high-quality care and meeting the highest standards.
Befort works in the ultrasound department and has been an employee of HaysMed since 2008.
