STOCKTON — A Natoma man was arrested after fleeing law enforcement Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Rooks County Sheriff’s Office, deputies tried to execute a felony arrest on Leonard Ramsey in Rooks County.
When law enforcement made contact with Ramsey, he fled on foot, according to the sheriff’s office Facebook page.
Deputies set up a perimeter around the property and called in additional units from the Plainville Police Department, the Osborne County Sheriff’s Office, the Kansas Highway Patrol K9 unit and the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit. A KHP aircraft also was called in for support.
Ramsey eventually was captured and taken into custody without incident.
