Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is returning to Madison on Wednesday for a town hall meeting.

The event at the Orpheum Theatre on State Street is free and open to the public on a first-come-first-served basis. The doors open at noon.

The Vermont Senator drew more than 8,000 people to the Alliant Energy Center on Saturday where he claimed victory in what turned out to be all three states holding nominating contests that day.

On Wednesday Sanders will also be at Carthage College in Kenosha (doors open at 8 a.m.) and at the Onalaska OmniCenter near La Crosse (doors open at 4 p.m.).

Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton was in Madison and Milwaukee on Monday and in Milwaukee, La Crosse and Green Bay on Tuesday. She has not announced any other upcoming events.
