Richard A. “Rick” Rhoades, 63, Oakley, died Thursday, April 7, 2016.
He was born May 28, 1952, in WaKeeney to Wayne E. and Doris V. (Jamison) Rhoades. He was a 1970 graduate of Quinter High School.
He drove a fuel truck by trade. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He enjoyed driving his Corvette, photography and especially enjoyed photos of his family.
Survivors include two daughters, Abigail Crandall and husband, Jacob, Hays, and Crista Rhoades, Salina; a brother, Bob Rhoades and wife, Gail, Quinter; his stepmother, Phyllis Rhoades, Wichita; and two grandsons, Austin Rhoades and DeLane Sauvage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Lynette Rhoades.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Church of the Brethren, Quinter; inurnment will be in the Baker Township Cemetery, Quinter..
Family will receive friends at 1 p.m Thursday at the church.
