Kerry Jolene Watson, 52, Inman, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.

She was born June 26, 1963, in WaKeeney to Milton Wayne “Nick” and Sylvia Jo (Wellbrock) Sherfick. She was a 1981 graduate of Trego Community High School and Brown Mackie College, Salina.

She was the communications director for Mid Kansas Co-op for nine years and also worked for Sirloin Stockade corporate offices.

She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her two sons, extended family, going to dirt track car races, George Strait concerts (17 to be exact), country music concerts and annual road trips with her girlfriends.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher Benisch and wife, Hannah, Olathe, and Jason Benisch and wife, Mishaun, Inman; a grandchild on the way; significant other and life partner, Greg Herrell, Hutchinson; his children, Lindsay Rayl and husband, J.P., and Kelsey Sanderson and husband, Eric; Greg’s grandchildren, Maddie, Ivy and Remy Jo Rayl, and Steven and Gracie Sanderson; a twin brother, Terry Sherfick and wife, Angie, WaKeeney; a brother, Jerry Sherfick and wife, Melissa, WaKeeney; a sister, Sherri Kuntz, WaKeeney; numerous nephews and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson; graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in WaKeeney City Cemetery.

Friends can call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

A rosary will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to McPherson County Community Foundation Women and Children’s Cancer Fund, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Inman Community Foundation or Hospice House in care of the mortury.
