Marcie Stoppel, 87, Oakley, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at her farm home in Julesburg, Colo. She was born March 21, 1928, in Indianola, Iowa, to Dewey and Virginia (Hoover) McKee.

She married Leon K. Stoppel on April 8, 1950, in Denver. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Leon, of the home in Oakley and Julesburg, Colo. farm; a son, Kevin and wife, Brenda, Oakley and Julesburg; two daughters, Cindy Boger and husband, Terry, Castle Rock, Colo., and Lori Talbott and husband, Mark, Milton, Fla.; a brother, Jud McKee and wife, Caroline, Norwalk, Iowa.; a sister, Lulu Belle McGuire, Lakeland, Fla.; six grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mac McKee; two sisters, Wanda Dyer and Rose Flesher: an infant granddaughter, Jessica Talbott; a granddaughter, Heidi (Talbott) Clark; and a great-grandson, Alex Talbott.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Buffalo Bill Cultural Center, Oakley; burial in Oakley Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the center.
