Twila J. McAfee, 59, Oakley, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at Logan County Hospital.
She was born Oct. 7, 1956, Kimball, Neb., to Donald and Mary (Harrington) Haddock. She attended high school in Utah.
She worked at an animal clinic in Liberal.
She enjoyed animals and children. Her door was always open to take in a stray animal and give it a home or to help a child like she did through foster care.
Survivors include two daughters, Dilia Gee and husband, Scott, Oakley, and Mary McCormick, Galveston, Texas; two sisters, Sharlet Clinton and Rita Haddock; seven grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and her husband, James McAfee.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Colby; cremation was chosen.
