Patricia J. "Patty" Dreiling, 72, Victoria, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Minneola District Hospital.

She was born April 17, 1941, in Munjor to Joseph J. and Rose (Pfannenstiel) Gross.

She married Verlin L. "Vernie" Dreiling on Sept. 12, 1959, in Munjor. He preceded her in death July 2, 2011. She was a homemaker, and worked in the laundry facility at St. John's Nursing Home in Victoria for 23 years.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and St. Boniface Christian Mothers, both of Vincent. She lived eight months at the Minneola Long Term Care Center in Minneola.

Survivors include four sons, Randy Dreiling and wife, Stefani, Hutchinson, Frank L. Dreiling and wife, Brenda, Victoria, Tony Dreiling and wife, Angie, Minneola, Mike Dreiling and wife, Traci, Eudora; three daughters, Sandy Goetz and husband, Jeff, Hays, Sadie Wideman and husband, Mark, Minneola, and Terri Maring and husband, Bryan, Eudora; four brothers, Vernon Gross and wife, Jeannie, and Harold Gross, all of Hays, Gerald Gross and wife, Sylvia, and Leslie Gross and Linda, all of Munjor; five sisters, Joann Dreiling and husband, Norman, Geraldine Kindal and husband, Don, all of Victoria, Kay Von Lintel and husband, Dennis, Vincent, and Mary Anderson and husband, Troy, Piedmont, Okla.; 16 grandchildren, Blake Dreiling, Ashley Herl and husband, Clint, Grant Dreiling, Nate Dreiling, Natasha Hammerschmidt and husband, Cory, Preston Dreiling and wife, Tianna, Tyson Dreiling and wife, Molly, Lawson Wideman, Jacey Wideman, Karson Wideman, Jacob Dreiling, Taylor Dreiling, Darian Graham, Alyson Dreiling, Madison Maring, and Kassidy Maring; and five great-grandchildren, Peyton Englert, Macy Hammerschmidt, Mia Hammerschmidt, Preslyn Dreiling and Verlin Dreiling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth Gross and Leon Gross; two sisters-in-law, Viola Gross and Shirley Gross; a brother-in-law, Cletus Brungardt; and a great-grandson, Stephan Lee Dreiling.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; burial in St. Boniface Cemetery, Vincent. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the church and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Cline's Mortuary, 412 Maint, Victoria, KS 67671.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday, followed by a St. Boniface Christian Mothers rosary, both at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Minneola Long Term Care Center garden fund, or St. Boniface Cemetery fund in care of the mortuary.
