Sophomore Hannah Perkins paced the Fort Hays State University women’s golf team with an individual 19th-place tie after shooting a 155 overall in the two day Nebraska-Kearney Spring Invitational during the weekend. The Tigers finished 11th as a team with an overall 651.

Augustana University (S.D.) won the invitational shooting a 602.

Fort Hays freshman Madison Roether followed her opening day 86 with a 79 in the second round to finish with a 165, tying sophomore teammate Hannah Karasiuk. Freshman Taylor DeBoer was one stroke back of Roether and Karasiuk with a 166 and sophomore Kelsey McCarthy rounded out the team scoring with a 175.

The Tigers will be in Springfield, Mo. on April 10 to 11 for the Spring Regional Preview at Rivercut Golf Course.
