ST. FRANCIS ó A 27-year-old Norton woman was killed Sunday when the vehicle she was driving crashed into a trailer being pulled by a semi.

The accident occurred at 2:20 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 36 and Kansas Highway 27.

The victim was identified by the Kansas Highway Patrol as Natasha Raenne Mcginnis. She had been taken to the Cheyenne County Hospital where she died, the KHP said.

According to the accident report, Mcginnis was westbound on U.S. 36 when she struck the semiís trailer, which was eastbound at the time. Her vehicle went into the south ditch, coming to rest on its wheels facing northwest.

Two other occupants of the Mcginnis vehicle, 1-year-old Cooper Mcginnis, and 4-year-old Reagan Mcginnis, were injured and were taken to Cheyenne County Hospital. All three were wearing seat belts.

The driver of the semi, Moreira Veloz Alain, 37, Miami, Fla., was not injured.
