Donna Mae Rolo, 80, Ransom, formerly of Hanston and Ness City, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at her home.

She was born Oct. 12, 1934, in Fairmont, Neb., to Ruben and Rose (Ackerman) Sell.

She married Wilbur “Willie” Rolo on Nov. 17, 1955, in Sutton, Neb. He preceded her in death Feb. 22, 1975. She was a homemaker and cook at the Derrick Inn Restaurant.

She was a member of United Methodist Church, Ness City.

She was a fan of the Kansas City Royals and Nebraska Cornhuskers and was baptized at the Hope Reform Church in Sutton, where she later was married.

Survivors include four sons, Bruce Rolo and wife, Jill, Tescott, Gary Rolo and fiancé, Melissa Vrbas, Ness City, Gregory Rolo and wife, Sherry, Great Bend, and Rudy Rolo and wife, Rhonda, Bazine; five daughters, Sharon Fuhr, Pratt, Shirley Crownover, Hutchinson, Brenda Krueger and husband, Chris, Great Bend, Rose Jones, McCracken, and Debra Fairbank and husband, Smokey, Ransom; a sister, Eleanor Jarrett, Hanston; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, LaVerne Sell; two grandsons, Skyler Jones and Josh Stieben; and a daughter-in-law, Joni Rolo.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Ness City; burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Zook.

Friends can call until 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, both at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.
