Ellis County commissioners will discuss ambulance bid specifications at their regular meeting at 5 p.m. Monday at the Ellis County Courthouse.

EMS Director Kerry McCue appeared before commissioners at last week's meeting to discuss authorization of bids for purchase of two new ambulances. Commissioner Swede Holmgren had questions about the bid, and McCue will appear before commissioners again Monday. In the agenda for Monday's meeting, McCue said a less-expensive alternative to a new ambulance is purchasing a new truck and retrofitting the existing ambulance box to the truck.
