Charles J. Hill, 85, Penokee, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at his home.
He was born July 2, 1930, in Idana, to Lester Olin and Bernice Iral (Turner) Hill.
He married Mary Jane Hawk on Feb. 14, 1953, in Phillipsburg. He was a carpenter. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Penokee; three daughters, Deloris Gleason, Kansas City, Mo., Charlotte Greer, Hill City, and Barbara Ross, Overland Park; a sister, Bernice, Goddard; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of God, Anderson Indiana Affiliation, Hill City; private family burial in Penokee Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice services.
