BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --  Fort Hays State University seniors Cory Keehn and Brady Tien wrapped up the indoor track and field season on Saturday in the NCAA Division II Championships.

Keehn finished a single spot away from qualifying for All-America status (top eight) in the 3,000-meter race, finishing ninth in 8 minutes, 13.06 seconds, breaking his own school-record. Keehn took 11th in the 5,000-meter with a time of 14:30.

Tien, an All-American in the pole vault last season, failed to clear his opening height of 15 feet, 9 inches.
