Katherine Z. Delzeit, 77, Oakley, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Logan County Hospital.
She was born Nov. 25, 1936, in Sheridan County to Joseph and Agatha (Heier) Zerr.
She married Fred S. Halbleib on March 21, 1957. He preceded her in death Dec. 31, 1986. She later married LeRoy "Bill" Delzeit on Feb. 28, 1992. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and worked outside the home.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oakley. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to dances and watching her grandchildren play sports.
Survivors include a son, Richard Halbleib and wife, Vickie, Oakley; two daughters, Patsy Kammer and husband, Chuck, Silver City, N.M., and Joyce Kuhn and husband, Alan, Oakley;a brother, Steve Zerr and wife, Louella, Hoxie; two sisters, Margaret Richmeier and husband, Ben, Thorton, Colo., and Helen Normandin and husband, Gene, Damar; five grandchildren, Sarah Kammer, Silver City, Jacob Halbleib and wife, Ciara, Westminster, Colo., Jessica Orlovski and husband, Craig, Goodland, Kristin Yergey and husband, Michael, Colby, and Ryan Kuhn, Oakley; and a great-grandson, Karter Yergey, Colby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Clem, Ted, Kasper and Melchoir Zerr.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the National Kidney Foundation in care of the mortuary.
