Arleta J. Power, 87, Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Morristown Hamblen Hospital in Morristown, Tenn.
She was born March 20, 1929, in Glade to Milton and Mary E. (Taylor) Keeten.
She married William D. Power on Sept. 24, 1950, in Phillipsburg. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include a son, Mark W. Power, New Port, Tenn.; a daughter, BuJean Jenkins, Dandridge, Tenn.; a sister, Bettie Bach, Hugoton; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kirk.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Phillipsburg; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family receiving friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m., both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
Memorials are suggested to United Methodist Church Women’s Society or Susan G. Komen for the Cure, in care of the funeral home.
