SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Emporia State University women's basketball season came to an end Wednesday when the Hornets lost 51-46 to California (PA) University in the semifinals of the NCAA Division II Tournament, played at the Sanford Pentagon. ESU ends the season with a 29-5 record -- including a 2-2 mark against Fort Hays State University -- the fifth most wins in school history. The Hornets were playing in their fourth Final Four, including their 2010 national title. Cal, a one seed, will face fifth-seeded California Baptist University in Friday's national championship game. CBU defeated Limestone College 85-67 in the other semifinal.
