Clara Louise Dubbs, 92, Ransom, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, in Ransom.

She was born Jan. 16, 1924, to Lewis and Mary Vale Dubbs. She attended Ransom schools, graduated from Kansas State, Manhattan, in 1946 with a bachelorís degree. She later graduated from Wichita State University with a masterís in occupational therapy and worked many years in the field.

She enjoyed traveling and she visited most, if not all, of the 50 states, Europe, Mexico, Ecuador, Paraguay, New Zealand and Fiji. She faithfully attended the Ransom Mennonite church and was a philanthropist giving to many noble causes.

Survivors include a sister, Florence Roat; her nephew and niece, Leon and Salome Roat, and nephew, Dale Roat, all of San Jose, Calif.; and her great nieces and nephews ,Christian Roat, Amy Roat, Jessica Roat, Siena Roat Shumway, and Sander Roat Shumway.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Mennonite Church, Ransom; inurnment in Ransom Cemetery.
