Thomas Dreiling, 75, Victoria, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at his home.

He was born Nov. 27, 1940, in Hays to Alphonse and Sophie (Sander) Dreiling. He was a 1959 graduate of Victoria High School and attended Fort Hays State University.

He married Jeanette (Kippes) on June 15, 1965.

He was a member of the Basilica of St. Fidelis Church and Victoria Knights of Columbus.

He enjoyed his family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting activities.

Survivors include a son, Scott T. Dreiling and wife, Jennifer, Olathe; two daughters, Dana S. Lang and husband, Daren, Victoria, and Shana M. Gatschet and husband, Michael, Goddard; Jeanette Dreiling, Victoria; three brothers, Marvin O. Dreiling and wife, Dorothy, Hays, Charles Dreiling, Victoria, and James Dreiling, Parker, Colo.; two sisters, Lucy Roth and husband, Robert, Wichita, and Theresa Ellis and husband, Clark, Lafayette, Colo.; a brother-in-law, William Dell, Littleton, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Mary Frances Dreiling, Hays; seven grandchildren, Taylor Lang and wife, Danielle, Joslyn Lang and fiancé, Cole Hanna, Katelyn Lang, Cade and Braden Gatschet, and Nathan and Grace Dreiling; and a great-grandchild, Jentrie Catherine Lang.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Elmer J. Dreiling, Hubert Dreiling and wife, Clemie, and Alfred J. Dreiling and wife, Myrna; and three sisters, Lorraine Bird and husband, Bill, Mary Ellen Dell and her first husband, Parnell Quinn, Ruth Stephens and husband, Don; and a sister-in-law, Lynda Dreiling.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Basilica of St. Fidelis, Victoria; burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from noon to 1:45 p.m. Friday, both at Clines Mortuary, 412 Main, Victoria, KS 67671.

A Class of 1959 rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, a vigil at 7 p.m., followed by a Victoria Daughters of Isabella rosary, all at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the Basilica of St. Fidelis in care of the mortuary.
