K.C. Hawks, 41, Queen Creek, Ariz., died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, in Chandler, Ariz.

He was born Feb. 9, 1973, in Moab, Utah, to Kenneth C. Hawks Sr. and Sharon Lee (Clark) (Hawks) Leikam.

He was a 1991 graduate of Grand County High School and a 2003 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelorís degree in education.

He married Jackie Llewellyn on Dec. 15, 1995. He later married Brandy Mahuka on April 4, 2007. He was co-manager of Walmart in Chandler, Ariz.

He enjoyed sports and was a No. 1 Kansas City Chiefs fan. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Brandy, Queen Creek; his children, Annily, Josh and Kealani; his mother, Sharon Leikam, Hays; his father, Kenneth C. Hawks Sr. and wife, Bonnie, Moab; a brother, Darren Hawks and wife, Jennifer, Tyler, Texas; three sisters, Lean Ross and husband, Jeff, Johnstown, Colo., Stephanie Seahorn and husband, Jerry, Longview, Texas, and Deb Alvarez and husband, Claudio, Hays; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jim Leikam; and his grandparents, Sid and Cloetta Clark and Lynn and Amy Hawks.

Services were Sept. 13 at Cortina LDS Fourth Ward LDS Church.
